Dr. Dietmar Schulz, LL.M. (Edinburgh)
Dr. Dietmar Schulz's practice focuses on providing comprehensive advice on (cross-border) restructuring, distressed M&A, and NPL.
Dietmar advises companies, executives, financiers, and investors from Germany and abroad in crisis and special situations, as well as insolvency and self-administrators. His work focuses in particular on structuring complex out-of-court restructurings with and without international aspects, advising on StaRUG and insolvency plans, and advising management. Another focus is on structuring financing and investment models in restructuring and turnaround situations. Dietmar also has many years of experience in advising financial institutions and investors on NPL transactions and distressed M&A projects, including company acquisitions in economic crisis situations.
His advice regularly lies at the interface between financing, legal structuring, and operational turnaround. Thanks to this interdisciplinary approach, he supports clients through all phases of the crisis—from strategic realignment to the implementation of viable restructuring solutions.
Dietmar's particular expertise in all facets of restructuring and complex financing structures complements and strengthens SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz's range of advisory services in the area of restructuring and insolvency consulting.
