SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz, with a team led by partner Dr. Oliver Schröder, LL.M. (NYU), has advised Westlake Corporation (NYSE: WLK) on the acquisition of the global compounding solutions business of the ACI/Perplastic Group.

ACI/Perplastic Group is a global manufacturer of specialty materials serving, in particular, the wire and cable markets. Headquartered in Guarda, Portugal, ACI/Perplastic Group has four production facilities, located in Mexico, Portugal, Romania, and Tunisia, which manufacture polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyolefin, silicone, and thermoplastic rubber compounds.

Westlake is a global manufacturer and supplier of materials and innovative products that enhance everyday life. Headquartered in Houston, with operations in Asia, Europe, and North America, Westlake provides the building blocks for vital solutions — from housing and construction, to packaging and healthcare, to automotive and consumer goods.
