SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz advises Südzucker on the Emission of a Sustainability-Linked Bond

Law firm SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz has advised Südzucker on the emission of a corporate bond as part of the Südzucker Sustainability-Linked Financing Framework.

The emission volume of the bond, which is issued by Südzucker International Finance B.V. and guaranteed by Südzucker AG, is EUR 400 million. The bond has a term of five years and a coupon of 5.125 percent. In the event that the targeted interim goal to reduce CO2 emissions is not achieved, bondholders will receive a redemption premium of 0.5 percent of the bond’s nominal value.

The emission was accompanied by a banking syndicate consisting of BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank AG, DZ Bank AG, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg and UniCredit Bank AG.
