SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz advises Mutares and DONGES STEELTEC on the sale of Kalzip GmbH to Tremco CPG

A team led by SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz partner Dr. Martin Kolbinger has advised Mutares SE & Co. KGaA and its subsidiary DONGES STEELTEC GmbH on the sale of their portfolio company Kalzip GmbH to Tremco Construction Products Group, a subsidiary of RPM International Inc.

Kalzip GmbH, headquartered in Koblenz, is one of the leading suppliers of aluminum roofs, facades, and building envelopes. Kalzip is represented internationally with numerous sales offices and a globally available fleet of mobile production units. In the fiscal year 2024, Kalzip generated profitable revenues of approximately EUR 75 million with around 180 employees. Mutares acquired Kalzip in 2018 from Tata Steel Europe. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026.
