The roots of Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz reach back more than 100 years. The first generation of partners included such notable jurists as Heinrich Kronstein, Wilhelm Zutt and Karl Geiler some of whom already advised on noteworthy mergers, such as the merger of Daimler and Benz, during the «golden twenties» and advised on major antitrust issues. They shaped the theory and practice of modern commercial and corporate law in Germany like few others. The close conjunction of legal practice and scholarly activities, which has been a distinguishing feature of quality of our firm, allows us to provide our clients with legal advice on the highest level in both transactions and disputes or litigation as well as in providing legal opinions.
The main focus of our practice is on corporate law, M&A, capital markets, banking & finance, labor law, antitrust law, intellectual property, competition law, business succession, trust law and public and administrative law as well as tax law and insolvency law. Over the last years, our clients included 14 of the 30 enterprises listed on the DAX. In addition, our clients include leading industrial and trade enterprises, banks, insurance companies and financial services providers as well as large family owned businesses and wealthy private clients.
