SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz advises Ragolds Invest on the sale of Jahnke Süsswaren to Cavendish & Harvey Confectionery

A team led by SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz partners Dr. Thomas Nägele and Dr. Christoph Allmendinger has advised Ragolds Invest GmbH on the sale of its subsidiary Jahnke Süsswaren GmbH to Cavendish & Harvey Confectionery GmbH.

The confectionery manufacturer Ragolds Invest acquired the long-established Hamburg-based company out of insolvency a few years ago as part of a complex insolvency plan. At that time, the restructuring team from SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz led by Marc-Philippe Hornung was involved in a leading role. The company has now been successfully sold to Cavendish & Harvey Confectionery, which is part of the Boettger Group. Ragolds Invest is part of the owner-managed Schindler Group. With over 125 years of tradition and more than 300 employees, Ragolds is today one of the leading international companies in the confectionery industry.

Ragolds Invest and the Schindler Group are long-standing clients of SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz. The law firm has assisted Ragolds Invest and the Schindler Group in numerous investments on both the buyer and seller side.
