Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz is expanding its transaction practice with the renowned M&A expert Dr. Oliver Schröder (49), who is moving from Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton as partner to SZA’s Frankfurt office on January 1, 2020. Dr. Oliver Schröder has played a leading role in numerous significant M&A transactions in recent years and is regarded as one of the leading M&A lawyers in Germany.
Dr. Oliver Schröder's practice focuses on national and international corporate acquisitions and disposals as well as public takeovers, corporate and transaction-related capital markets law and private equity transactions. Recent transactions he has leadingly advised include the sale of Opel/Vauxhall by General Motors to PSA, the acquisition of Rimowa by LVMH, the sale of business units of the Loyalty Partner/Payback Group by American Express and the acquisition of the Linio Group by the Chilean company Falabella S.A.C.I. He is a commentator on the German Securities Acquisition and Takeover Act as well as author of numerous articles on M&A transactions.
