Alexander Stolz, LL.M. (Dresden/Exeter) is a Senior Associate and joined SZA as an attorney-at-law in 2015. He has since been part of the practice group for Commercial, IT Law, Data Protection & Cyber Security and Intellectual Property.

Besides representing clients in and out of court, Mr. Stolz advises a large number of national and international clients on strategic, contractual and transactional issues. He focuses on commercial law, general terms and conditions and general contract law, e-commerce and data protection law as well as technical and non-technical industrial property rights (in particular patent, utility model, design, trade secret and trademark law). Furthermore, he has profound expertise in copyright and media law as well as in unfair competition law.

Mr. Stolz is a lecturer for civil law at the Baden Wurttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW Baden-Württemberg) and a member of the German Association for Industrial Property and Copyright Law (GRUR). He is a regular lecturer at seminars and the author of various publications in his fields of practice (including contributions to a commentary on the German Trade Secrets Act, to the Beck'sche Online Forms IT and Data Law and co-authorship of an annual multi-part essay on developments in data protection law). During his education, he completed an international postgradual master's degree in intellectual property law and a complementary studies degree in sports law.
