Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz advises Investors on Series-A-Financing round of 3D-Printer Developer Kumovis GmbH

Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz advised a group of investors compris-ing Renolit, Solvay Participations Belgique, the High-Tech Grün-derfonds and Ffilipa Venture Capital on a series-A financing round of 3D-printer developer Kumovis GmbH.

Kumovis GmbH is engaged in the development and sales of 3D-printers for the processing of high performance plastics, which can be used, inter alia, in the field of medical technology. The existing investors HTGF und Ffilipa were already shareholders of the Munich-based tech start-up since the seed financing round; Renolit and Solvay joined as new investors within the scope of the transaction.

SZA comprehensively advised the investors on the structuring (including the due diligence) and negotiation as well as the contractual documentation of the series-A financing round. SZA's team, led by partner Dr. Stephan Brandes, comprised Dr. Michael Cohen, Ela Rabenau, and Dr. Matthias Heusel (all Venture Capital / Corporate) as well as Dr. Simon Apel (Venture Capital / IP).
