Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz strengthens its transaction practice with Dr. Martin Kolbinger

Press Release Mergers & Acquisitions -

Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz is expanding its transaction practice with new partner Dr. Martin Kolbinger (46) who has joined SZA's Munich office on August 1, 2020.

Martin Kolbinger is moving from CMS in Munich. His practice particularly focuses on complex national and international corporate transactions as well as joint ventures. Amongst others, he advised Hyundai Electric and Telefónica Germany on divestment processes and acquisitions.

A second focus of his practice is advising companies on planning and implementing corporate restructurings and ongoing corporate law issues including post-merger integration.

"With his outstanding expertise, especially in the area of cross border M&A transactions, Dr. Martin Kolbinger fits perfectly into our transaction team", says Senior Partner Professor Dr. Jochem Reichert. Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz has already strengthened its team with transaction specialist Dr. Oliver Schröder who joined the law firm in January. Thus, Dr. Martin Kolbinger is the second top-class addition within a very short time. "Our Munich office is constantly growing and will be strengthened further by a lawyer as experienced in the field of transactions as Dr. Martin Kolbinger. We are thus responding to our clients' demand for precisely this expertise from Munich", says Dr. Max Hirschberger, Partner at SZA Munich. In 2019, the law firm responded to the increasing activities in southern Germany and opened its own office in the Bavarian capital. Dr. Martin Kolbinger will strengthen the team around Dr. Max Hirschberger, Dr. Peter Bauschatz and Dr. Stefan Zeyher in Munich.
