ZIM Flugsitz was founded in 2008 by the engineer couple Zimmermann, who will continue as shareholders of the company and will remain active in the company's management board. ZIM Flugsitz has been growing steadily since its foundation. With its development department being acknowledged throughout the entire industry, as well as an innovative and high quality product portfolio, mainly for the Economy and Premium Economy classes, ZIM Flugsitz is comfortably positioned to profit from the long-term growth trend in the flight seat sector. Among the company's clients are international airlines such as Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, Japan Airlines und ANA.
"Since the foundation in 2008 we have grown strongly as family business and have successfully managed the entry in the linefit segment and the Premium Economy class. Now time has come to prepare our financial structure and our organization for future growth, and we are delighted to have found an experienced investor in AURELIUS who will support us in our future challenges," says Angelika Zimmermann, president of ZIM Flugsitz.
AURELIUS will support ZIM Flugsitz financially and operationally, to enable further growth. The focus will be on operational improvements and the optimization of the financial structure. With the existing portfolio of excellent products as well as with new developments, the company is expected to maintain its growth.
"The transaction shows that the value commitment of our far-reaching operative ressources is also appreciated by medium-sized companies. We are looking forward, together with the Zimmermann couple, to further develop the organization and lift it to the next level", says Dr. Dirk Markus, CEO of AURELIUS.
