SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz advises Südzucker AG in connection with a EUR 600 million syndicated loan

SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz advises Südzucker AG in connection with a EUR 600 million syndicated revolving credit facility agreement with 12 banks under the lead of Deutsche Bank AG as coordinator. Landesbank Baden-Württemberg acted as agent. The borrower side also included Südzucker’s subsidiary CropEnergies AG. The new financing replaces the previous revolving credit line of Südzucker AG.

Südzucker AG is the largest sugar producer in the world and one of the largest German food manufacturing and processing companies. It employs around 19,200 people worldwide and is listed on the SDAX.

The SZA team consisted of Dr. Dietrich F. R. Stiller (lead), Dr. Andreas Herr (Financ-ing), Dr. Michael Maxim Cohen (Finance/Corporate) and Zhanna Dosmanova (all Frankfurt am Main).

Südzucker’s in-house team was led by Cornelius Willer (Head of Corporate Finance & Treasury).
