Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz advises Diebold Nixdorf on the Sale of its Reverse Vending System Business

Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz provided comprehensive legal advice to Diebold Nixdorf Incorporated on the sale of its Reverse Vending Solutions (RVS) business to REMONDIS' subsidiary REMONDIS Recycling GmbH & Co. KG.

The transaction entails a carve-out of the RVS business to Diebold Nixdorf Technology GmbH and Diebold Nixdorf Retail Services GmbH and a subsequent transfer of these companies to REMONDIS Recycling GmbH & Co. KG. The acquisition by REMONDIS is subject to approval by the antitrust authorities.

The sale is already the third transaction concluded this year by Diebold Nixdorf Group for which Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz provided comprehensive legal support.

Diebold Nixdorf is a leading global ATM manufacturer whose shares are listed on the New York Stock Exchange and on the regulated market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Prime Standard). With the sale, Diebold Nixdorf pursues the strategic goal of focusing entirely on its core business in the Retail sector in the future, particularly in self-checkout and other global growth opportunities.
