Our Roots
The roots of Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz reach back more than 100 years. The first generation of partners included such notable jurists as Heinrich Kronstein, Wilhelm Zutt and Karl Geiler some of whom already advised on noteworthy mergers, such as the merger of Daimler and Benz, during the «golden twenties» and advised on major antitrust issues. They shaped the theory and practice of modern commercial and corporate law in Germany like few others. The close conjunction of legal practice and scholarly activities, which has been a distinguishing feature of quality of our firm, allows us to provide our clients with legal advice on the highest level in both transactions and disputes or litigation as well as in providing legal opinions.
Our Profile
The main focus of our practice is on corporate law, M&A, capital markets, labor law, antitrust law, intellectual property, competition law, business succession, trust law and public and administrative law as well as tax law. Over the last years, our clients included 12 of the 30 enterprises listed on the DAX. In addition, our clients include leading industrial and trade enterprises, banks, insurance companies and financial services providers as well as large family owned businesses and wealthy private clients.

Our Self-Image
It is our conviction that the quality of legal advice does not primarily depend on the size of a firm but on the qualification of its attorneys. Aside from their exceptional expertise in their respective fields which they have usually proven in scholarly publications, our attorneys have a special insight into commercial and economic connections and requirements. This allows us to develop individually tailored, sustainable and pragmatic solutions with regard to complex legal issues.
